Who Can Enrol on the PADI Equipment Specialist Instructor Course?

To enrol in this course, you must be:

• An active teaching status PADI Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI), or higher

Note: IDC/OWSI candidates may complete the Equipment Specialist Instructor training during their IDC but can only apply for Specialty Instructor certification after successfully passing the PADI Instructor Examination (IE).

To qualify for certification as an Equipment Specialist Instructor, you must complete training with a PADI Course Director. This is a course exit requirement.

What Will You Learn?

This course is designed to give you practical, hands-on knowledge that you can immediately apply as an instructor.

During the program, you will:

• Deliver and be evaluated on a practical workshop presentation based on the Equipment Specialist curriculum
• Review PADI Equipment Specialist standards, procedures, and course structure
