Knowledge Development & Introduction
Your instructor takes you through some basic knowledge using the PADI Discover scuba diving flip chart to discuss the effects of pressure underwater, how to equalize your air spaces and breathing.
You then complete a short 9 question multiple choice quiz to ensure you understand.
Confined Water Training & Skills
To begin with, we start off in shallow water in either a pool or just off the beach in one of Koh Tao’s many shallow bays, which are ideal for this type of scuba and easy for you to stand up.
We show you some simple skills such as how to equalize your ears, clear a mask and regulator, correct breathing techniques, plus how to use the scuba equipment.
Open Water Dive in the Ocean
Once you have mastered the skills and are comfortable with the breathing, we can take you a little deeper around the bay for a real scuba dive.
In clear, warm water, you can see an abundance of colorful marine life as we swim above the sand close to the reef, whilst you enjoy an unforgettable holiday experience.
