The PADI IE is conducted on Koh Tao by examiners from PADI Asia Pacific’s HQ in Australia. There’s 12 IE’s on Koh Tao throughout the year that are scheduled to run immediately after the IDC is complete.

The schedule looks like this.

AM: Systems, standards and procedures examination exam (90 mins)
AM: Dive Theory Exams (90mins)
AM: Lunch Break
PM: Confined water teaching presentations (swimming pool)
AM: Knowledge development presentations (classroom)

Then, of course, after the closing ceremony and presentation it’s time for celebrations and the IE Party!
