BOOK ONLINESearch and Recovery Instructor Specialty Course in Thailand
If you have ever lost something in the water from a boat or while scuba diving and want to find and recover it, you will need to understand how to organise, plan and execute search and recovery procedures with precision.
There is a huge difference between a bunch of divers randomly looking for something underwater haphazardly and an organised search using proper techniques for search and recovery. How you go about it, will be the difference between success and failure.
As a PADI Search & Recovery Diver Specialty Instructor you will teach your students effective ways to search for objects underwater that will increase your chance of success in finding missing objects.
You will also teach the various lift techniques used to safely bring objects of various sizes and shapes to the surface. Search and Recovery can be challenging but is also great fun.
Search & Recovery diving around Koh Tao
The different topography, depths and conditions on the dive sites around Koh Tao make this a perfect location for Search and Recovery divers. As a PADI Search & Recovery Diver Specialty Instructor you will conduct exercises with student divers that identify problems, hazards, and techniques used in search, navigation and lift techniques.
At a dive site suitable for this type of training you will conduct underwater search patterns using compass and natural navigation. Additionally, you will use lift bags and other recovery methods suited to raising various sized and shaped objects safely from the seabed. After completing this course, you will be the specialty instructor that everyone wants to dive with.
